From: Ras

Ras asked:
“Salam Lyemoon. I really like your fresh perspective in your writings. Introducing Islam in a very light and digestible manner. And by the way, are the pictures in your blog taken by you? Are you a photographer? If yes, what camera are you using?”

Wa’alaikum as-salaam, Ras!

Syukran for the compliments, but verily whatever that’s good comes from Him, and any shortcomings comes from me. Praise Allah for inspiring me in my humble life.

And Yup!!!
Unless otherwise stated or linked, the photos on this blog are mine. (Except for some graphics used and my Avatar and the one on the About page, both of which were taken by my good friend.)

Nope, I am not a photographer, but I secretly enjoy taking photos for myself. Only at very rare moments though; Like when certain angles/scene/place/time/weather/mood inspires me with a story behind each capture.

All the pictures are captured using my family’s humble point and shoot Panasonic Lumix – which is now with my brother as he globe-trots for a whole 12 months. Thus, I am now camera-less.

I think DSLRs are AWESOME! But right now, I’m just contented with watching my friends and Big Sister doing awesome stuffs with their DSLRs, as I secretly wish for a Holga for this upcoming Eid – or at least a Canon PowerShot S95.

♥,
Lyemoon

About lyemoon.

I would like to travel the world and journey the footsteps of Ibn Battuta. I would like to be a zookeeper and tame the lions. I would like to sit at the edge of a cliff and bask in the sun. I would like to drink tea and read a book. I would like to sit and dream all day long.
