A Guiding Friend.

As much as I would like to be a guiding friend to my friends, I too would like them to be my guiding friend. It makes me sad thinking about it at times. Perhaps my effort was not enough…

“… He whom Allah guideth, he indeed is led aright, and he whom He sendeth astray, for him thou wilt not find a guiding friend.”

Qur’an 18:17

Ya Rabb! Keep my friends in your guidance. Place them amongst the mu’minoons not with the strayed and grace unto them with the wisdom to tell what is right and what is wrong. Ya Rabb! Neglect us, not. Ameen.

And if in you I cannot find a guiding friend, perhaps Allah has better plans for us both. Insyallah. And Alhamdulillah I still have my girlfriends 🙂
